Has nobody that spoke Japanese. So, instead of hiring someone that speaks Japanese to work with Otani they just let the interpreter handle Otani’s financial stuff and he essentially becomes Otani’s de facto business manager….eventually stealing 16 million plus from Otani to cover his debts.
