For all the celebration for 4th there is the heartache for 5th. I have thought about that a lot after my son's race. If the guy that just beat out my son instead got beat out by my son he would have felt that same heartbreak. Every event has that 5th place finisher that just missed it. I wouldn't want him to go through what we went through. As bad as I feel for my son, I'm excited for the guy that beat him.
