What I'm saying is why should the NCAA require
college a sports program to give out scholarships to compete in the NCAA? Why can't the club just raise money to fund its own team without funding from the college itself? As far as I know the NCAA only requires an equal amount of scholarships given to men and women. With NIL I can see them getting around those rules.

They then count against scholarships so you would have to have an equal number of women’s. Big bag of problems schools..
