Also played many D2 and D3 schools. We easily hung with the top D2 and D3 schools. The top 15 D1 are next level. I remember playing Duke and Villanova.

The BYU team this year is one of the best club programs I’ve seen in maybe forever. This season I bet BYU could hang with D1 programs just outside of the top 20.

But that’s just this year. Other years, BYU is not deep enough to compete at that level. We had transfers on the team from Syracuse, Army, UMBC and other that had offers from Ohio State, Penn State, etc. Parents made them come to BYU.

All this to say that if they made the jump, it would be rocky for several years but I believe they come up very quickly. Michigan is a good example of what we could expect.
