IMHO 100+ years ago 90% of the people work a phyiscal job, farmer, construction,
Etc and most had some kind of garden, live stock, I think they were in more control of they’re destiny, work make a little money, offset it with a garden live stock.
And not nearly as much keeping up with the Jones, 80% of the people In the same boat.
Hard physical labor at work or in the home is very good for the mind and soul.
