Three teaspoons sugar. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt. 16 ounces water. You need the
sugar to absorb the electrolytes.
Gatorade has twice that amount of sugar. Not optimal.

Yes but Gatorade has more than needed. We also still absorb electrolytes without
