Min and their mile is under 4:10 (maybe even faster) pace. I know of one runner in the under 15 min 5k pace and just over 4:13 mile pace who was interested in running at BYU and when he approached their recruiting department to ask what he needed to do to be recruited by them the only feedback he got was “run faster”. Kind of a knock for someone who took second in state cc last year. He landed at another div 1 school for running, so it all works out how it is supposed to, but worth noting if you think you know someone who BYU considers “worth recruiting”.
