I haven't had this happen with FSD 12 or later.
When I used Enhanced Autopilot it used to break hard when a car was crossing the lane ahead even if it had plenty of time to clear your lane. I think earlier versions of FSD did that as well. Since FSD 12 I haven't had it occur at all.

I hate driving behind Teslas using FSD (and yes you can tell). It's random stopping and accelerating.
