Invest in what makes you happy
My wife supports me in this and I in her. I am seriously looking at getting a EVH guitar and 5150 Amp even though I don't play, just because I want to. She is fine with it, even though she thinks I am a bit crazy. So get your lawnmower!

I LOVE mowing the lawn, and 4k on a mower is nothing. How big is your lawn? You could get a nicely used reel mower
