Late 80's. By the time I got back from my mission and was back at the Y in early 90's, all social clubs, including Sam Hall, were pretty much extinct at BYU.

This included all/most of the other social clubs on campus in the 80's, including CDU, etc. — there are a handful of others whose names I fail to recall.

I had several friends that "rushed" for and joined these clubs in the late 80's at the time, but I found them to be a little too elitist and cliquish for my taste. That being said, some very nice-looking women attended Sam Hall and CDU events, so they had that going for them.
