Liverpool fans have felt for a few years now. Two of Liverpool's greatest ever teams lost the title by one point to City (2019 and 2022). Those two teams had the 3rd and 4th highest points tally in Liverpool history. You'd have to go back to Liverpool's 10th highest points tally to find another team that didn't win the title.
