I would be receiving a generous relocation package that includes major incentives for purchasing in the Midwest, as well as a budget for temporary housing. Zoning on the current home would allow for multiple units, so that isn’t an issue either. The basement would theoretically be a 3 bed, 1 bath apartment with a large kitchen and living room.
