That's fair, and I'm not necessarily disagreeing. I'm just saying I've looked at
a lot of homes in Utah on Zillow and city records where the basement square footage isn't listed. Zillow also used to let you modify your own property square footage and specs, so it's probably inconsistent at best. My guess is that all initial Zillow listings do not include basement square footage.

One thing I've seen when comparing in other areas, Utah almost universally counts basement space as part of square
