Just got a quote for my shop that I was hoping to build this summer. Anyone have
Experience not using a general contractor and subbing everything out myself? I don't know much about construction would that make it very difficult. I have the engineered plans already.
The general contractor is charging over 30k(18%) profit for his services in the bid we got.
I am going to get 1 or 2 more bids but it was way more than I was expecting. Doubt others come in much lower.
