Crawford is higher rated as a recruit, but Bryant was a proven player.
Potential may be higher on Crawford, but the sure thing in Bryant would be hard to pass on.

Bryant--even as a Sr--was no Lanier as a total impact player, & he wasn't a true PG anything like Crawford.

That was a pretty prolific offense he played for — that spent much of the year blowing out way outmatched WCC opponents

He wouldn't have been able to do what Lanier did. He was not that level of athlete. Lanier's team sucked.
