Did this in Costa Rica ~10 years ago, and it was great!

My in-laws were celebrating their 50th anniversary and rented a "compound" for all their children and their families.  The compound had 3 separate houses that we all split up in and came with a driver, a small bus, and a cook.  Made the trip amazing.  We would tell the driver what our plan was for each day and he'd make sure we departed and arrived as needed to make things work.  The cook was only there for dinners, which was plenty.  We'd tell her each morning whether we wanted a fish, chicken or beef dinner and she'd coordinate with the driver so that when we arrived home each evening there was a freshly cooked, hot dinner awaiting.

I don't know exactly what my in-laws paid for it, but it wasn't crazy expensive.  It was near Jaco and if you're interested, I'm sure I could find the exact details of the house.  It's been a few years, so I don't even know if the property is still owned by the same people, or if they're still renting it, but it was great.
