Not to mention ended on a 4 game skid and lost 5 of the last 7, many of which were over before halftime. Compare that to the momentum SMU has coming in. And they were a big winner in transfers. They have a lot of bounce back recruits coming back home to Dallas after trying at other P4 schools. I wish we had a couple of those guys.
It’s gonna be a painful year or two more. Then we move on to see if someone else can succeed as a P4 coach at BYU, likely meaning at least a couple more tough years.
