It blows my mind that PRP hasn't been covered yet
I started doing PRP injections in residency 9 years ago and anticipated that within 2-3 years out of residency we'd be starting to bill insurances. But I'm still waiting wondering what the hold up is.

Didn’t help my knees. Cortisone helped first injection.

Also note your Insurance probably won’t pay for the ultrasound guiding part so

I did after cortisone shots no longer worked. I only got a small amount of relief from it for a short period of time.

Orthovisc injections have given me years of additional, mostly pain free, use of shoulder
