people that have to be "sold" on HC might be much more likely to break it
I think that finding the right cultural fits helps them stay longer without having to do too much selling. Yes, I know that limits the talent pool without a doubt, but so does losing them mid season to HC issues.

I'm not sure about that. It seems like it would be easier to sell the honor code for just one year vs 4-5yrs
