Supposedly they won’t actually own equity and it’s more like a private loan. Pressure will still be there of course.
Some deals apparently only take a percentage of revenue growth. I’ve heard them discussed on a couple podcasts. 22% for X years, then 10%. And 2% once the principle has been paid back. Andy staples and cover 3 had a financial guy on to discuss. Seems like a decent option for some schools to keep up.

I think it’s something a lot of G5 schools and a number of smaller P4 schools might look to. It could be the thing that keeps them afloat and finds payments to players
