Who are we still in the mix for in basketball recruiting?

As a reminder, here's the off-season gains/losses (among those with eligibility remaining)

Gains Losses
  Collin Chandler (97)
  Jaxson Robinson (95)
Keba Keita (89) Aly Khalifa (91)
Elijah Crawford (88) Isaac Davis (88)
Brody Kozlowski (88) Marcus Adams (87)
  Noah Waterman (NYR)
  Atiki Ally Atiki (NYR)

There's some credit for retaining Dallin Hall (93) and Richie Saunders (90) or this would certainly look worse, but it's still pretty clear we need a couple more high-end transfers for player movement this off-season to be a net positive.

Would have been great to get Chaz Lanier (96), but that obviously didn't pan out.

Here's the names I've heard, and a bit about them or the latest I know. If you know of others or know more on these names, please feel free to add your two cents

Berke Buyunktencel: Not rated for the portal this year, but was rated 94 as a recruit going into UCLA last year. Had a disappointing season and now transferring but still lots of upside. Most reports say it's between us and Nebraska, but this CB post seems to think it's Nebraska

Egor Demin: Russian international, not rated by 247, but seen as a late lottery pick for 2025 by a few sources. 6'8" or 6'9", plays a point guard role. Seemed like the most was mostly us and Illinois, but Illinois seems to be mostly out of the picture now. Noise (from the Illinois side) is that we offered him $2M NIL and they just can't match

Mawot Mag: Rutgers PF in the transfer portal.  Rated 90 by 247 and has a listed top 5 of BYU, USC, Clemson, SDSU, and Southern Miss. Don't know a lot on his status beyond that, but would be a great addition. 1 year of eligibility left, regressed a bit last year, a true PF (tried to shoot more 3s last season but didn't go great) and looking for a new home

Hugo Gonzalez: Spanish international, also not rated by 247, but seen as an early 2025 lottery pick by those same sources and others. Likely a top 5 guy. There was lots of buzz about him earlier on these boards, but substantially less now. Most of what I've seenately has been veiled (or not-so-veiled) shots at CougConnect for 'ruining' our chances with him, so I'd guess we're not really in the mix anymore but would be happy to be wrong.

Maxim Logue: French international, seen more as a developmental player due to his athleticism, but not as immediate a contributor. Last I heard was that Oregon St and BYU are the favorites...but it's been a while. Also some rumors regarding his ability to be accepted as he doesn't speak much English?

Anyone else? Or any new updates on those guys?  Still obviously have 4 open spots (see table above) and probably want to fill them with high-quality players. So far Utah is getting more out of the portal than we are (2 91 rated transfers and 2 88 rates transfers), which frankly should absolutely not ever be happening
