I think this is an accurate summary of who technically "lost" and gained for the coming season under Coach Kevin Young, but I also think that it tends to overlook a couple of things:

* Dawson Baker - should be on the "gains" list - yes, technically he was on the roster this last year, but so was Marcus Adams and yet Adams is listed as a "loss" while Baker appears nowhere. Adams had great potential. Dawson Baker is a proven three-level scorer who averaged 16 points per game at his last school. Baker should be listed on gains, because he was rostered but could hardly play this past season due to injury.

* Townsend Tripple - should be on the "gains" list - kid has stuck around, even though a PWO, and showed this past season he has size, good mobility, toughness, can score inside and outside, can defend. He should only get better if his health will let him, which has some question marks.

That's two more solid guys that you could technically cite as "gains." I expect we'll have more through the PWO approach, hopefully, and we'll see what gets added in addition.

I just checked in the portal - there are a LOT of pretty solid players still out there. I am not too worried.
