Who cares if someone has a tattoo or has a nose ring or pink hair or wears their pants too high or too low, or gets a hair transplant or a face lift or wears fake nails or dyes their hair or spends a lot of money on tennis shoes or whatever? It's not so different than when non-members mock garments or missionaries out sweating in the heat in what looks like too much clothes.
In both cases it says more about the person mocking than it does about one getting mocked.
