Riddle me this: Why does the calorie counter on the gym equipment tell me
For an hour on the elliptical, I burned 500 calories.
For an hour on the exercise bike, I burned 250 calories.
Mostly the same motion, but I felt my legs burning a lot more while on the bike.

They've done studies and found bikes have the most accurate counters and ellipticals have the least accurate.
