We live near Caspersen and it’s open
I have been a couple times. My wife loves collecting shells and shark teeth and it the beaches of southern Sarasota and northern Charlotte Counties are loaded with them.
Neither is convenient to Orlando, though. Caspersen is probably 2.5 hours and Sanibel 3.5 hours from Orlando.
