I hunt and have several good pairs but forgot them at home in the chaos. We cruises the inside passage and there was always whales, orcas and other wildlife to see on cruise days. Binos would have been awesome.

I downloaded the offline maps via Google maps so I could use it without data since I'd heard it was touchy depending on your carrier. That came in handy.

It was our first cruise that was Caribbean. So there weren't as many on deck activities or it was poor weather at times. Wish I would have brought cards or something to kill time with the family when inside.

Have fun, we'll probably do another next summer when my in laws fly to the US to visit. Different than warm weather cruises but it was great.
