i mean it’ll still be tough. OU doesn’t play OU and still has a top 10 average schedule.
recruiting is catching up. the training staff is catching up. facilities are catching up. comparing the last 2 times i was at BYU it’s been a massive difference. in 2018 it wasn’t much better than norman north high school. now it’s looking like a P5 program.
it’ll take time, which does mean at least a couple more years of being mediocre at best. but things are moving in the right direction off the field which will help on the field.

winning 5 games against by far the toughest schedule BYU has ever had is far from disastrous. especially with the roster
