He began to try to unload his BMW almost as soon as he bought it due to the exorbitant repair costs. Even an oil change was a complicated issue, as I recall. Also, be sure to compare insurance costs. BMW's can have killer rates. FWIW, I've driven Toyotas for the last seven years and will never go back to anything else.
