Personally I hate probabilities..comes from my ACT
test when I was in high school. I was in the Top 2 math geeks in the school and the Top 10 students all got 36....except for me. There were 5 questions on probabilities all in a row and I missed all of them. I haven't touched them since and tell my kids to not ask me to help them with any probability home work.

For example...In Deal or No Deal...you start with 20 cases...you get down to two...what do you do? You would think there was a 50/50 chance and you might as well stay put...but NOOOOO...the case you picked at the beginning still has a 1 in 20 chance of winning, while the other case has a 50/50 chance in winning....

So you should swap cases.

Is that confusing, or what?

What if I swapped...and then was asked if I wanted to swap again? Does that change the first case back to 50/50?

I am going back to my tax returns...
