Across the states, and especially in the rural areas, there is a great need for doctors and nurses.

You may not see that in Provo or SLC because there are a lot of LDS folks that go into medicine and a lot of them want to go home to Utah. But there are a lot of towns without any doctors at all. Many states will offer to pay doctors loans in full in addition to a healthy salary if they are willing to go to these underserved areas.

There is a great need - unfortunately there aren't many employment opportunities within walking distance of LES.
