SDSU had several guys who were extremely hot from the outside. They had 20% 3-point shooters hitting contested 25-footers. SDSU is a great defensive team, no doubt, but I think they played a bit out of their heads offensively. BYU had one guy (Neilsen) who played out of his head. The rest played a fairly typical game. Collinsworth and Winder were a little better than normal. Fischer a little worse than normal. So I guess what I am saying is that BYU's B game hung with SDSU's A- game and went to 2OT. I was very encouraged.
BYU's zone caused a lot of turnovers. When you put Kaufusi + Neilsen at the base of that zone with Haws, Winder and Collinsworth at the top it is a very effective defense.
