Yes
Tyler does try to sell calls all the time. I think I recall the announcers saying the McCall told Rose he thought he was flopping. He was not and the replay showed it. But it is something that I think he should refrain from doing. Officials are human beings (I know that shocks many on the board) and they are influenced by the behavior of the coaches and players. When you work in a conference you get to know the coaches better and they get to know you so they know what they can get away with with each official. They will push it as far as they think they can.

One of the reasons why coordinators try to limit how many times you work a team each season is because of the issue of familiarity. A certain player makes a move and you know he travels when he does that move so you blow the whistle.

Again, the replay clearly shows that he was pulled to the ground and the call should have been made.
