He's definitely a quirky guy and I do not agree with him on all matters regarding BYU football. I think his recruiting model is terrible. With that said I think he's hamstrung by BYU's cultural and academic evolution. Independence is not helping matters. Many think Bronco is easily replaced but I think that is a myopic view. What coach wants to come in and be asked to win under BYU's ever increasing limitations?

Buck is right, BYU does not resemble what it was during the Lavell era. While it's easy to go off half-cocked and blame Bronco and Tom for everything I don't think that's wise. Assigning blame for the current state of BYU Football (and basketball for that matter) is going to be a complex and difficult process.
