I will state it again, I don't get those who don't understand or like Arrival. The film is so thought provoking and interesting. It is realistic Sci Fi, not Star Wars or Star Trek sci fi. I like those franchises as well, but I put them in more of the popcorn sci fi than realistic sci fi.

Arrival has become one of my favorite Sci Fi movies along with Blade Runner, Gattaca, The Matrix (only the first one),
