Despite the fact that that wasn't my point, I'd would now like to point out to you that BYU brought in 8-9 kids from the state of Utah last year and Utah close to the same. According to your calculations BYU and Utah have a combined total of 10-12 kids on their squads that aren't D-1 talent because they are from Utah. I know Utah does not have the same number of talented D-1 players as other states but I think there may be a tad more than 4. My point was that it would be foolish to have a ho-hum attitude about in-state recruiting, and why would you care less if you lost the majority of the in-state talent to your rival school?
