This is not a bash in any way shape or form
On y'all's early commits. But the D1 talent in Utah this year at this point in the recruiting season is way below what it was last year. There aren't more than 4-5 kids at this point that are the kind of kids where you can watch film on them or see them play in person and say "that kid can play D1 ball." As the senior season starts up and progresses, that will obviously change. But the strategy for the Utes has and will remain, offer the top in-state kids, then offer the out-of-state heavy hitters and then go head to head with other PAC-10 schools on the 3-star kids and sleepers.
