It's more about us not getting in to the Pac-10 when we so obviously deserved it. Many of us grew up Pac-10 fans and the natural fit was apparent for many years. It's tough hating the conference after embracing it during my formative years.
Also, seeing the yewts succeed reminds us of how limiting the honor code is, and always will be, in recruiting talent. We see in utah a mediocre program that improves because it can recruit with zero moral or intellectual demands.
And because of that progress, we see our lack thereof -- we see stagnancy and the reality of a ceiling that is far lower than we can stomach.
