Sure, many are jealous of the Yewt's Pac-12 affiliation, but most also see it for what it is: bias against BYU, not so much merit by the Yew. But if BYU was shining alongside the Yewts in independence, I think you would see much, much less angst. The fact is, BYU is not. Add into the mix that we have a coach who is getting owned in the rivalry, and fans are going to be upset. For me, it is at least 85% frustration with our program and maybe 15% jealousy of the Yewts' position.
