Of course, the Utes zooming past us and enjoying relevant wins doesn't help at all. But even without the Utes' success staring us in the face, we'd still have lost to UCF, Nevada, Utah St., Memphis, and whatever other lousy program beat us last year. Oh yeah...it was Boise. After witnessing us getting kicked around like a limp corpse from directly behind the BYU bench, I guess I'd suppressed that memory.

There's relative mediocrity, and then there's downright mediocrity. We've managed to achieve both lately. Yay.

...but tomorrow dawns a new season, so who knows? Maybe we start off the year with the state's best win so far.
