I think you definitely should leave. Working on your daughter's graduation and with family in town? That's nuts. Are you at a law firm or something?
I took a very sizable paycut to move from a law firm to in-house. Best decision I've ever made. We have to budget a little more, but having dinner every night with my family and having all weekend with them -- you just can't put a price tag on that.
If you have a job that will allow you to be at home more AND you aren't taking a pay cut, I think you need to take it for sure.
