to measure it all by quality of life, the people you work with, the kind of work you get to do, the flexibility and time you get to have. It's nice to be at the point, but I've found that can also sometimes lead to a bit of boredom and restlessness. It might just be me, but when I hit that point I can get wandering eyes and start thinking that a new start could get me re-energized and excited. But, that can also make you start to forget where you job happiness and satisfaction comes from. When that happens I have to trigger myself to start finding ways to get re-energized where I am by developing new ideas or going back and finding an old project idea I had forgotten about. I don't want to forget how good I have it and how bad it can be someplace else.
