first one I had been working in the Boston area for years and just couldn't get ahead. Pay just didn't keep up with the cost of living. Took me about a year to nail down a position in a place with a lower cost of living with the same salary. Second, we lost our largest customer and it was just me and my boss left in our group (high was about 20). I had been laid off a couple times but got called back each time before I could even collect unemployment. That led me to my third job where I took a lesser position just to have a job. Finally got the promotion that put me where I should have been in the first place. We'll see how everything goes. This place is the type of place that you can retire at.
