My girlfriend is dragging me to the Utah game Saturday for the big SECOND annual black out game (what a great, deep rooted tradition). Thats right Yewts, everybody get your pirate flags and head to the stadium. Its time to watch yewt nation pretend they are hardcore big time college football fans.
Don't worry Cougar fans I'm not switching sides. In fact I have an idea. When everyone is making that cool University of Miami sign with their hands I'll raise my thumbs a little and form a big Wyoming "W"!!!! Shhhhh don't tell a soul.
Speaking of Miami's hand sign and Utah's storied tradition has anyone else noticed all the stolen "traditions" the yewt fans claim as their own up there? Lets take a look...
1) The U hand sign (Stolen from... Miami)

4) Refering to us as the "TEAM DOWN SOUTH" Stolen from the Ohio St./Michigan rivalry.
5) Waving a pirate flag during games... (Stolen from... ??? Maybe the Raiders? Not really sure on this one.. Do they know what a Ute is?

Anyways I'm excited to see these good folks up at the U giving their best effort to pretend like they are a legit fan base with a storied history. Looking forward to seeing 40,000+ Utah fans all pretending to be the same thing for Halloween this year... Real football fans. GO COUGS!!!
