activities that is romanticized. It is ingrained in the psyche of every football fan that if you don't tailgate you are not a real fan. I don't find that it holds any allure.
My own experience here in Lubbock is that it is an opportunity to get more than a little buzzed pre-game. It does, however, give you a much more lively/rowdy fanbase.

If a Utah fan wrote on UFN making fun of BYU, which is pretty much constant, how many BYU fans would come out of the wood work to attack him?
