The black out is lame. It's completely trendy (see Miami's U hand sign & Texas hook'em horns), it's not one of their team colors, and the gear/flags/pirate garbage with black in it looks uber stupid.
It's like Oregon's 6,000,000 + nike jerseys - stupid. Personally, I think their stadium looks more impressive when they have everybody clad in red gear.
Although I will agree about people in LES getting mad because you stand up and cheer. Even when my wife was 7 months pregnant she thought it was lame that people got mad at others for standing up.
