The BIG difference with 2012 close games:

4 of those 5 games were against teams that finished the season ranked in the top 25. Only 5 of the 26 games between 2005 and 2011 were against teams that finished the season ranked.

BYU didn't "FORGET" how to win close games, they just lost to a better group of teams in 2012.
