Utah will always be second fiddle to BYU. Always. It doesn't matter if they beat BYU on the field, Utah will always be second fiddle to BYU. How does Utah look in the Director's Cup standings? Oh that's right...they aren't listed.
Utah is in the Pac 12 because of religious bigotry...but it doesn't matter. They will always be second fiddle to BYU because BYU has brand. Utah...are they Yewts or Pirates or Hawks...what exactly are they? Outside of Utah, few can tell you the difference between Utah and Utah State. But people know BYU.
Even in Utah look at media coverage. Whether negative or positive...BYU gets much, much more coverage. Why? Because they are top dog.
