looking at last year we did a good job it looks like against USU and Ga tech. WST and Utah perhaps.

We played WST early their offense improved throughout the season.

Also only Utah and WST faced other defenses that should be good, though the PAC12 really only had one good D in the whole league last year....Stanfords... From a yardage factor it does appear that we were a better defense than the defenses that the opponents faced. So WAC D's yup I hope so/ MWC D's again I hope so/ Pac12 south, last year that division had terribly weak D's. ND? I have no idea except tehy played Stanford.. Tell you what compare our totals with Stanfords, minus the OT yardage and pts... vs ND

Last year is a difficult one because we only faced two teams that could throw teh ball, USU and SJST... allo other teams were PATHETIC in that regard.

IMO BYU and BM struggle much more against teams who can throw. Again eh USU game does look impressive. However IIRC and you can check and see if I am wrong, did we not dominate TOP vs USU.
If your analysis also showed how many plays were run vs BYU vs average number of plays run vs all other opponents that would be more complete, along with the scoring information.
