That's kind of the point, there's not many programs better than ours
regardless of SOS. I'd love to see us consistently winning the big games, but so would every other fan out there. The reality is that there aren't many schools that go out and win the big games every week, year in and year out.
If easy schedules was the key to top 25 programs, they why is the top 25 not full of MAC, CUSA, WAC, and other schools? One or two may get in every once in a while, but none of them are there every year like BYU is (minus the last two years).
