Prior to that, even with the color change they really lagged with new ideas, designs, etc. There was still a lot of the old blue and tan color scheme kicking around on campus and online. For a long time after Bronco took charge you couldn't find a car flag that wasn't the old brown and tan as well as stickers, car magnets, jackets, coats. Stretch Y and vintage royal blue stuff has just really started taking off. I have wanted a royal blue sailor coug T-Shirt forever and finally nabbed one last year.

The new Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and other brand apparel has gotten better too. Climacool and other fabrics that make wearing a navy blue shirt in the sun (night games are mitigating this however) bearable have helped too. The selection of hats, beanies, track jackets, 3/4 zip pullovers the list goes on and on. Gear nirvana. Finally gave me something to buy other than a MWC Championship T-Shirt or Rise Up, Quest for Perfection, Raise the Bar, shirt.

I am not complaining, just happy to see the change and focus on things that are stylish and comfortable and represent the university well.
